So’s artistic journey is quite unconventional. He didn’t major in art or design at university but entered the design industry by chance after graduation. His creative inspiration mainly comes from everyday life, often finding inspiration through interacting with people and observing his surroundings. His works usually portray life, and he often carries a notebook to jot down spontaneous ideas.

《阿婆走得快》系列的誕生源自於一次偶然的機會，當WhatsApp推出sticker功能時，他和一位被昵稱為「阿婆」的中學同學合作創作了這系列sticker。這一系列以一位名叫「阿婆」的老太太為主角，形象憨厚可愛，帶有強烈的香港本土色彩。阿婆的形象是基於蘇泳康的一位中學同學「阿婆」，她的言行舉止和機智反應給予了蘇泳康極大的創作靈感。在這系列中，阿婆常以幽默和機智的方式處理生活中的各種小事，展示出長者那種獨有的智慧和幽默感。

The creation of the “Grandma Moves Fast” series originated from a chance opportunity when WhatsApp introduced the sticker feature, and he collaborated with a high school classmate nicknamed “Grandma” to create this series of stickers. The series features an elderly lady named “Grandma,” who is endearing and exhibits a strong local Hong Kong flavor. The character of Grandma is based on So’s high school classmate, whose nickname is “Grandma,” and her behavior and witty responses greatly inspired So’s creativity. In this series, Grandma often deals with life’s minor issues in humorous and clever ways, showcasing the unique wisdom and humor of the elderly.
