Imagine walking into a large hemisphere which is filled with video and music inside, and you can be part of it! H0nh1m and his art team, XECPT collabs with Daito Manabe, presenting “Perpetual Records” at FutureScope, allowing viewers to fully submerge in the experience.

香港首個大型半球體藝術空間「FutureScope」於今年十二月在啟德揭幕，開幕首展推出沉浸式多感官體驗作品《恆定錄》，由香港媒體藝術家張瀚謙帶領其藝術團隊 XCEPT 主導創作，並特邀日本著名藝術家真鍋大度合作聲音軟件設計。該作品將為「FutureScope」三大主題章節揭開序幕。
The first hemispherical art space”FutureScope” opens in December in Kai Tak. The first exhibition after opening, “Perpetual Records”, is led by h0nh1m and his art team XCEPT, along with the famous Japanese artist, Daito Manabe, who works on sound software design. The exhibition starts the first chapter of FutureScope’s three themed chapters.

1️⃣創新科技，讓人走進其中
《恆定錄》 (ft. 真鍋大度) 是由 XCEPT 創作的跨維度體驗，引領觀眾步入一個360度、持續演變的分形宇宙。作品靈感源自「阿卡西紀錄」—— 一個被視為宇宙萬物起源與記憶的載體，涵蓋人類過去、現在與未來的所有印記。透過互動科技，觀眾得以參與視覺效果的衍生過程，共同構建一個流動的記憶維度。作品利用面部掃描技術採集參與者的數據，使其融入一個由集體存在構成的聲光景域。《恆定錄》不僅是一件公共藝術作品供大眾觀賞，更主動邀請公眾成為藝術創作的一部份，將被動的感知轉化為主動的參與。
Walking into the Innovative Technology
“Perpetual Records” (ft. Daito Manabe) is a cross dimension experience created by XCEPT, leading audiences into a 360 degree and everchanging space. It is inspired by the Akashic Records, which symbolizes the origin and vessel of all existence, covering the past, present and future of human history. Through interactive technology, audiences can participate in the process of creating visual effects and build a moving memory space together. The work uses the facial recognition system to collect data, forming and blending audiences into a space of sound and light. “Perpetual Records” is not just a public artwork for display, but also inviting the public to become a part of art creation, turning the passive perceptions to active participations.
2️⃣真鍋大度精心設計聲音軟體
空間中的聲景由日本藝術家真鍋大度設計，以白噪音與電子聲響構建出實驗性音樂，並會隨觀眾的面部動作實時變化。為強化參與感，展覽特設售票演出場次，讓觀眾在觀賞之餘，更能親身介入作品的生成過程。每場名額有限，每節約30分鐘，體驗涵蓋五個獨特視覺場景。
Carefully Designed Audio Software by Daito Manabe
The audio in the space is designed by the Japanese artist Daito Manabe. The experimental music is formed with white noise and electronic sound, and has live-time changes according to the audiences’ facial expression. To enhance viewers’ experience, the exhibition sets up ticket sales for each session, allowing viewers to enjoy and participate in the process of art creation. The number of participants each session is limited, and each session would last around 30 minutes, showcasing five unique scenarios.

XCEPT藝術總監張瀚謙帶來精心編排的視效聲景表演，運用面部識別技術收集觀眾的即時數據實時創作，讓整個空間不斷衍生，蛻變，記錄。

展覽的創新體驗結合互動人臉識別技術與聲景效果，邀請觀眾共同構建充滿詩意的幾何空間。《恆定錄》將 FutureScope 轉化為一個與觀眾共同呼吸的藝術生命體，不斷生長與演化，細膩地模糊了個人與集體體驗的界線。
Life Like Artwork
The innovative experience of the exhibition combines facial recognition system and audio effect, inviting audiences to build a geometric space together. “Perptual Records” turned FutureScope into an artistic life that breathes with the audiences, that grows and evolves, blurring the line between individual and collateral experience.
背景 BACKGROUND
「FutureScope」以半球體建構一個宇宙空間觀念，隱喻著一個能穿越時間空間甚至解構身體的場域；半球體裝置外表如渾天儀般映照著外界天空雲影，內觀為360度投映聲效技術造就的沉浸式空間，內外呼應著中國傳統哲學書《周易‧繫辭上》所提及的：「形而上者謂之道，形而下者謂之器」的觀念。
FutureScope is an on-going project to constructs the concept of cosmological through a hemispherical structure, it metaphorically creating a realm capable of traversing time and space, as well as to deconstructing the concept of physical body. The exterior of the hemispherical installation, resembling an armillary sphere, reflects the external sky and clouds, while the interior is an immersive space created by 360-degree projection and sound technology. The interplay between inner & outer echoes the concept from Chinese Philosophical classic “The Book of Changes: Xi Ci I”, it mentioned “the metaphysical is called Dao (道) and the physical is called Qi (器).
