DFA Asia has served to celebrate design excellence and give recognition to exceptional designs with Asian perspectives. It provides a platform for design talents and corporations to exhibit their design projects internationally.
DFA亞洲最具影響力設計獎共分為大獎和組別獎項。組別獎項的參賽作品以公開徵集方式進行招募，參加者可在四大設計範疇之 24 項組別之中選擇一項以提交設計項目；四大設計範疇包括服裝設計、傳訊設計、環境設計，及產品與工業設計，分別頒發金、銀、銅和優異獎。組別獎中的金獎作品及由提名徵集的出眾設計將一同角逐大獎殊榮。
It consists of the Grand Award and Category Award in total. Category Award entries are recruited by open submission to one of 24 categories under four major design disciplines: Apparel & Accessory Design, Communication Design, Environmental Design, and Product & Industrial Design; Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit awards are presented to the outstanding projects. Gold award winners from the Category Award and other nominated design projects will be considered for the Grand Award.
