Justice Centre Hong Kong最新一屆香港人權藝術獎 2020於早前正式啟動,現作品徵集期延長至3月17日(星期二),邀請各本地視覺藝術家,透過各種媒介,創作扣人心弦、引起社會共鳴的藝術作品,與大眾共同探討本地及國際人權議題。本年度更新增學生組別,鼓勵學生了解及探索相關議題。
Justice Centre Hong Kong has announced that the submission deadline for the Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize 2020 will be extended to March 17. Open to all Hong Kong-based and Hong Kong born visual artists, the Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize 2020 invites creators to submit work in any medium exploring the theme of local or international human rights. In addition to playing a pivotal role in unearthing artistic talent in the city, the HKHRAP has successfully engaged the civic imagination and established itself as an important cultural platform in Hong Kong.
香港人權藝術獎於2013年設立,在發掘及鼓勵香港藝術家探索本地及海外人權狀況的工作上扮演重要角色。在過往數年展出及拍賣的作品中常見的議題,包括佔領運動、環境問題、露宿者、難民危機、強制勞動、少數族裔及性小眾權利。本屆冠軍將獲得港幣35,000元獎金,亞軍、季軍亦會獲頒豐富獎項。而本年度亦首度設有由歌德學院支持的歌德獎,頒發予「人權45秒」短片組別的得獎者,得獎者將有機會到訪德國柏林,探索當地的藝術及文化。參賽費用為免費,而得獎名單將於2020年5月12日公布。
Since its launch by Justice Centre Hong Kong in 2013, the Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize has encouraged meaningful dialogue about the state of human rights both at home and abroad. This year’s Arts Prize introduces two new categories: Student category submission open to Hong Kong-based secondary or high school students and the Goethe Award ’45 Seconds for Human Rights’ which will be awarded to a short film or video of exactly 45 seconds. The winner of this year’s Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize will receive HKD35,000. There is no entry fee to the Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize and the opening reception will be held on May 12 2020.
