2019年巴塞爾藝術展香港展會即將舉行，呈獻來自35個國家及地區合共242間頂尖藝廊參展。除了強勁的回歸藝廊陣容，今屆的巴塞爾藝術展香港展會將展出21間首度參展的藝廊。

Opening in weeks, the 2019 edition of Art Basel in Hong Kong welcomes 242 leading galleries from 35 countries and territories. Alongside a robust roster of returning galleries, this year’s show features 21 galleries participating for the first time. With over half of the exhibitors having gallery spaces in Asia and the Asia Pacific, Art Basel’s Hong Kong show reinforces its ongoing commitment to the region.

同時，巴塞爾藝術展繼續履行推廣亞洲及亞太地區傑出藝術的承諾，超過一半的參展藝廊於區內設有展覽空間。除了在藝廊薈萃、亞洲視野、藝術探新及藝聚空間展區呈獻來自亞洲及全球的藝術傑作，展會同時帶來精心策展的展覽、精彩豐富的光映現場節目，以及口碑載道的與巴塞爾藝術展對話項目系列。

In addition to showcasing exceptional art from Asia and across the globe within its Galleries, Insights, Discoveries and Encounters sectors, the show also presents carefully curated exhibitions in the Kabinett sector, an ambitious Film program, as well as the fair’s renowned talks series Conversations.

藝廊薈萃 Galleries

展會主展區呈獻196間世界頂級藝廊的精彩油畫、雕塑、繪畫、裝置藝術、攝影、錄像及數碼作品。

The main sector of the show features 196 of the world’s leading galleries presenting the highest quality of painting, sculpture, drawings, installation, photography, video and digital works.

亞洲視野 Insights

亞洲視野展區將呈獻 21 間藝廊帶來的個展或雙人展、獨有的歷史材料及精彩主題式展覽。展 區呈獻來自亞洲及亞太地區重要藝術家的作品，藉此闡明亞洲藝術歷史。

This unique sector features presentations by one or two artists with exceptional historical materials and strong thematic exhibitions by 21 galleries. Insights illustrates Asian art history by presenting works of important artists from Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

藝術探新 Discoveries

藝術探新展區將呈獻由新晉藝術家帶來的個展。在今年 25 間參展藝廊中將包括 Sabrina Amrani 呈獻的韓國藝術家 Jong Oh；以及印度藝廊 Jhaveri Contemporary 呈獻 Lubna Chowdhary 的新作。

Focused on solo shows by emerging artists, Discoveries this year will feature 25 galleries, such as Sabrina Amrani presenting South Korean artist Jong Oh and Indian gallery Jhaveri Contemporary showcasing new work by Lubna Chowdhary.

藝聚空間 Encounters

今年藝聚空間展區將呈獻12件博物館規模裝置藝術，其中八件將於香港展會首次展出。展區主題為《Still We Rise》，今年的展區回顧過去並思索未來，聚焦於當下迷失與無常的議題。展區將來自不同背景及世代的藝術家集聚一堂，他們將平平無奇的材料重新組合，以此來展現當今世界的複雜性。

The year’s edition of Encounters will consist of 12 institutional-scale installations, with eight works premiering in Hong Kong. Under the title ‘Still We Rise’, this edition focuses on current issues of disorientation and uncertainty by looking back at the past and speculating about the future. The sector will bring together artists from different backgrounds and generations who are reconfiguring prosaic materials in an attempt to represent the complexity of today’s world.

策展角落 Kabinett

展區為參展藝廊提供機會，在展位另外劃分的空間中展出精心策劃的展覽，今年的策展角落展區將涵括21個由知名及新晉藝術家呈獻的概念性創作項目，並將聚焦來自亞洲的藝術家。

Providing galleries with an opportunity to present curated exhibitions in separately delineated spaces within their booths, this year’s Kabinett sector will include 21 conceptual presentations by established and emerging artists, with a particularly strong focus on artists from Asia.

光映現場 Film

在第六年的光映現場展區，多媒體藝術家兼電影製作人李掁華將呈獻27部靈感來自當今社會政治氛圍的電影與錄像作品。F

For its sixth edition, multi-media artist and film producer Li Zhenhua brings together 27 film and video works inspired by the current sociopolitical climate.

與巴塞爾藝術展對話 Conversations

對公眾免費開放的與巴塞爾藝術展對話展區由作家兼編劇Stephanie Bailey策劃，今年呈獻22場座談會，邀請來自全球各地的頂尖藝術家、畫廊從業者、藏家、藝術史學家、策展人、博物館總監與藝評家參與。

Free to the public and programmed by writer and editor Stephanie Bailey, this year’s Conversations program features 22 panels, bringing together leading artists, gallerists, collectors, art historians, curators, museum directors and critics from across the world.
