展覽為 光華新聞文化中心 「2018台灣月」的節目之一，將臺灣資深科幻漫畫家阿推的3次元空間帶到香港！展期由即日起至11月20日，於香港藝術中心三樓實驗畫廊展出阿推的大量珍貴原稿。阿推從事創作33年，天馬行空的想像力配以豐富澎湃的畫面，吸納不少華文及非華文世界的讀者。他的《超人巴力入》是第一本登陸歐洲的臺灣漫畫，細膩而獨樹一格的創作只此一家。阿推的漫畫中隱藏大量密碼、符號，解碼遊戲般的漫畫閱讀經驗，令粉絲們百看不厭，當中包括樂團五月天的成員瑪莎。阿推的作品，在不同時空一次又一次的翻閱，每次都會發現多一點暗藏漫畫中的驚喜，難怪阿推的經典漫畫如《九命人》、《超人巴力入》自初次發表後，多次再版，橫跨20年。阿推確是呈現臺灣豐富又多面向文化創意的絕佳典範。
Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC) presents The Quest Game—Exhibition of Push Comic’s Works at the Experimental Gallery on the third floor of the Centre from 19 October to 20 November 2018. As one of the programmes of Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Center’s “2018 Taiwan Arts Festival”, the exhibition will bring the 3D spaces by established Taiwanese sci-fi comics artist Push Comic to Hong Kong! Throughout the 33 years of his artistic career, Push Comic has attracted a wide readership among both the Chinese- and non-Chinese-speaking communities with his unrestrained imagination and compelling drawings. Peppered with hidden codes and symbols that create a reading experience very much like playing a decoding game, his comics are enthusiastically embraced by his followers, including Masa, one of the members of the Taiwanese rock band Mayday. Push Comic’s works are read and re-read across time and space, and every read promises discovery of the wonders that he lays in the comics for us. It is certainly not an overstatement to say that Push Comic is the best person to represent the diversity and different facets of the cultural and creative industries in Taiwan.
