More recently, his work has leaned into a “cellular” or cosmic trend, using textures that mimic microscopic organisms or chemical reactions. This focus on sustainability and biomimicry ensures his art feels alive and deeply connected to the natural world, even when produced with high-tech methods.

To bring these visions to life, Giacomucci blends traditional observation with cutting-edge technology. He utilizes 5-axis CNC milling for marble and laser-cutting for metal, but he is perhaps most famous for his “structural origami” with cardboard and his unique acrylic fusion techniques. By layering plates and manipulating the curing process, he creates organic, jellyfish-like effects within plexiglass, turning rigid surfaces into fluid, transparent masterpieces.
