Daiv(陳偉豪,진위호)是一位活躍於國際藝壇的韓國當代藝術家,以其鮮明的街頭塗鴉風格、強烈色彩對比與深邃的情緒哲學而備受矚目。他先後畢業於弘益大學視覺設計碩士與國民大學繪畫系碩士,兼具紮實的學術背景與旺盛的創作實踐力。作品融合嘻哈文化、動畫美學與街頭藝術語言,形成獨特的「魔幻現實主義」視覺體驗,畫面充滿節奏與戲劇張力。

Daiv is a Korean contemporary artist active on the international art scene, renowned for his distinctive street graffiti style, bold color contrasts, and profound emotional philosophy. He holds Master’s degrees in Visual Design from Hongik University and in Painting from Kookmin University, combining a solid academic foundation with vigorous creative practice. His work integrates hip-hop culture, animation aesthetics, and street art language to form a unique “magical realism” visual experience, filled with rhythm and dramatic tension.

在Daiv的作品中,最具代表性的莫過於其原創的「Daiv小人」IP形象。這一角色靈感源於MBTI人格理論,象徵著每個人內在同時存在I(內向)與E(外向)的雙重特質。小人往往以左右面孔情緒各異的樣貌出現,生動傳遞出「E人也有I的一面,I人也有E的一面」的核心主題。這種視覺隱喻不僅深入探討人性中複雜多變的情緒層次,更促使觀者反思並接納自我內在的多樣性,從而產生深刻的情感共鳴。

The most iconic element of Daiv’s work is his original “Daiv Character” IP. Inspired by MBTI personality theory, this figure symbolizes the dual traits of I (introversion) and E (extraversion) coexisting within every individual. The character often appears with contrasting emotional expressions on the left and right sides of its face, vividly conveying the core theme that “an E person also has an I side, and an I person also has an E side.” This visual metaphor not only delves deeply into the complex and fluid layers of human emotion but also prompts viewers to reflect on and embrace their own inner diversity, fostering profound emotional resonance.

Beyond exploring inner emotions, Daiv’s work also projects concern and critique toward modern social phenomena. His creations often use a humorous and witty touch to reveal issues such as urbanization, interpersonal relationships, and cultural conflicts. For instance, he employs imagery like mini 4WD cars and race cars as vehicles to metaphorically address the tensions between rapid societal development in Asia, collective memory, and individual growth, building a discursive space between nostalgia and allegory. His visuals brim with the free-spirited energy of street culture while harboring serious inquiries into the nature of reality, forming an aesthetic language that is both accessible to the public and thought-provoking.
