Meet Chiwai, a talented illustrator and graphic designer whose work breathes whimsy and wonder into the everyday. With over a decade of experience and a base in Taipei, Chiwai has cultivated a distinctive style that is both playful and deeply narrative. A graduate of the Advertising Department at Chinese Culture University, he has lent his creative vision to an impressive roster of international clients, including DFS, LINE, T2 tea, and Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory HK, proving the universal appeal of his charming and quirky aesthetic.

At the heart of Chiwai’s practice is a love for transforming simple, everyday moments into captivating art and stories. This is beautifully exemplified in his picture book, “What Are You Thinking?” which explores the common, yet often misunderstood, phenomenon of daydreaming. His illustrations and books are characterized by their open-ended narratives, inviting viewers to use their own imagination to complete the story. This unique approach makes his work an engaging experience not just for children, but for adults and parents as well, encouraging a moment of shared reflection and creativity.
除了商業合作，袁志偉也積極參與藝術社群。他的作品曾於氹仔舊城區藝術空間的「慢賞文化」聯展中展出，而其繪本《想什麼？》更被改編成精緻的木偶劇，充分展現其藝術如何超越紙本，創造出多元的感官體驗。
Beyond commercial projects, Chiwai is an active participant in the art community. His work was featured in the collective “Walking Culture” exhibition at Taipa Village Art Space, and his picture book, “What Are You Thinking?” was even adapted into a special puppet play, demonstrating how his art extends beyond the page to create multi-sensory experiences.
