動物給人的印象是可愛和溫和，而許多畫作中也會凸顯牠們的這種特質。但Léo Forest卻選擇了另一種記錄方式，畫下各種充滿動感的動物。

Most of the time, animals give us an impression of being cute and tamed, and usually these characteristics are also reflected in drawings. However, Léo Forest did not follow the “tradition”, and drew down animals that are full of movements.

Léo Forest從2018年開始發佈作品，現時在Instagram上擁有約26.8萬追蹤者，更於2025年首次舉辦個人展覽「Choses」。

Léo Forest has been posting his works on Instagram since 2018 and has around 268K followers now. His solo exhibition, “Choses” was held in 2025.

Léo Forest的作品大多都圍繞著動物，而作畫方式則是以炭筆與鉛筆在紙上繪畫。不論是黑白又或是彩色的畫作，全都把動物們的動態栩栩如生地展現出來。比起傳統的靜態美，他的作品自有一番「動態美」，帶出動物中一種另類的可愛。

Most of Léo Forest’s works focus on animals, and he drew by pencil and charcoal on paper. No matter if the piece is monochromatic or colourful, they all showcase the liveliness of animals. In comparison to the traditional, still drawings of animals, his works has an unique “movement” and brings out an otherly cute side of animals.

Léo Forest許多作品中的主角都是貓，人們對貓的印象通常都是乖巧、高傲、可愛，但在他筆下的貓卻跟這「刻板印象」截然不同，有的看起來甚至能以猙獰、詭異來形容，可在這些「壞形象」背後，卻反映了貓奇怪又可愛的一面。

Cats are one of the main characters in many of Léo Forest’s arts. Most people have the impression that cats are quiet, haughty and cute, yet the cats he has drawn are different from these “stereotypes”. Some of them can even be described as hideous or eerie, but behind these “bad impressions”, it shows the weird yet cute side of cats.

Léo Forest的許多作品都沒有特定標題，而他本人Instagram也沒有任何簡介。但或許正是這種簡樸，才能讓我們更能感受到當中的寫實。

Most of Léo Forest’s art pieces do not have a specific title, and he does not include anything in his Instagram description. Perhaps this simplism helps us to feel the realism in his works better.
