Peep & HER 與她們的士多？此非今天街上隨處可見的便利店也，而是來自上世紀 90 年代的香港情懷與現代時尚的美麗邂逅。香港藝術家 Peep 與本地時裝品牌 HER 第三度合作，為 JPS 畫廊聯乘創作全新展覽「她的士多」，主題圍繞致敬與歌頌香港⽂化。

Peep & HER and their future vintage store? This is not the ubiquitous convenience store of today, but a beautiful meeting between yesterday’s Hong Kong and tomorrow’s fashion. Marking the third collaboration between Hong Kong artist Peep and local fashion brand HER, “The Future Vintage Store” exhibition on view at JPS Gallery celebrates Hong Kong culture.

「她的士多」展覽以獨特視⾓演繹香港「亂中有序」的城市美學，讓舊⽇情懷與現代時尚展開對話。展覽透過重新詮釋這座城市的文化印記，打造一個沉浸式空間，邀請觀眾探索這座不斷演變的都市。這次展覽除了向香港豐富的⽂化底蘊致敬外，更把觀眾帶回 1990 年代，那個為藝術家帶來無盡歡愉與靈感的⿈⾦歲⽉。

The showcase embraces the city’s signature “organised chaos” where yesterday’s Hong Kong meets tomorrow’s fashion. By reimagining the city’s cultural touchstones, the exhibition creates an immersive environment that invites visitors to explore the evolving identity of this dynamic city. Not only do visitors come to appreciate the bridge between Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage and its dynamic present, they also “peep” into 1990s Hong Kong with the artist, whose idyllic childhood has provided treasured memories that are infused in this nostalgic showcase.

1️⃣ 晾衣繩：連結香港的集體記憶
展覽以⼀座充滿寶藏的時光迷宮揭幕，滙集不同年代的文化遺產。展覽巧妙地利用樸實的晾衣繩懸掛 HER 的當代時尚服飾，為晾衣繩賦予新的意義。這些衣物經過精心佈置，隨著觀眾的步伐流轉，在光影之間勾勒出靈動的輪廓，宛如重現唐樓簷下隨風搖曳、色彩斑斕的「萬國旗」。

Laundry Lines: Threading Through Hong Kong’s Soul
The exhibition unfolds as a treasure-filled labyrinth where decades collide in enchanting ways. In the exhibition, humble laundry lines take on a new purpose, displaying HER’s contemporary fashion pieces in thoughtfully arranged compositions that create playful silhouettes and visual narratives that transform as visitors journey through the space.

2️⃣ 平凡的座位，不平凡的邂逅
在懸掛的衣幕下，摺檯搭配粉紅⾊的塑膠凳，營造出最具地道特⾊的聚會場景。摺檯上陳列著 Peep 與 HER 多年來的聯乘作品，包括以獨特陶瓷圖案融合當代主題的瓷器餐具，及帶有 Peep 風格的「⿂蝦蟹」：⼀種深植於本地⽂化的賭博消遣，如今被重新詮釋為具有收藏價值的藝術品。

Ordinary Seats, Extraordinary Encounters
Beneath the canopy of suspended clothing, foldable tables paired with pink plastic stackable stools create intimate gathering spots. The tables display Peep and HER’s collaborative creations over the years: porcelain dinnerware reimagined with distinctive ceramic patterns fused with contemporary motifs, and a transformed Fish-Prawn-Crab game set — a gambling pastime deeply embedded in local culture now reinvented as a collectable art piece.

3️⃣ 重現香港懷舊情懷
漫步畫廊，你會發現由 Peep 親⼿繪製的傳統港式洗衣店招牌，以及波⼦棋、不倒翁等極具年代感的復古塑膠玩具。每件展品均經過精⼼修復，竭⼒保留最原汁原味的時代韻味。與這些懷舊珍寶相映成趣的，是 Peep 筆下的摩登香港畫作，如銅鑼灣 HER 店外⼈潮熙攘的街景。

Nostalgia Reimagined
Throughout the gallery, visitors can find traditional Hong Kong-style laundromat signs hand-painted by Peep, alongside vintage toys such as Chinese checkers and tumbler dolls. Each toy has been meticulously restored, their original charm preserved. Complementing these nostalgic elements are Peep’s paintings inspired by modern Hong Kong scenes, including a playful depiction of the constant traffic outside HER’s physical store in Causeway Bay.

4️⃣ 復古即未來，未來即復古
在香港⼟⽣⼟長的 Peep，以 90 年代的成長經歷為靈感，將童年時期珍視的⼩物品注入現代藝術語境，使這些曾經的⽇常玩意成為今天意義深遠的⽂物。「她的⼠多」不僅記錄著 Peep 和 HER 的創作軌跡，更透過展覽的核心概念，在不同年代、美學與體驗之間，構築⼀場專屬於香港的時空對話。香港最動⼈之處，在於傳統與現代、實⽤與時尚的共存。

The Future Is Vintage
This exhibition represents a natural evolution in homegrown Peep’s collaborative journey with HER, reflecting their shared commitment to celebrating Hong Kong culture. Visitors are invited on a journey of rediscovery, gaining fresh perspectives on their own early years through thoughtfully curated antiques delicately enhanced with contemporary brushwork.

🐶 Peep 是一位生於 1991 年的香港藝術家。她精緻而充滿活力的作品描繪了屬於女性的烏托邦，休閒而歡樂，更以各種動物象徵人類的不同情感和故事。藝術家邀請觀眾退後⼀步，以輕鬆愉快和富有想像⼒的⽅式看待這個紛擾的世界。

Peep is a Hong Kong artist born in 1991. Her delicate and vibrant paintings of women reveal an unfettered utopia of female leisure and joy, at times featuring animals representing the feelings and stories of people from different walks of life. The artist invites the viewer to take a step back and see the chaotic world in a more lighthearted and imaginative way.

Founded in 2019 by Hilary Tsui, HER is a fashion brand that seamlessly blends local and global influences with a strong commitment to sustainability.
