創意旅遊活動「#design district Hong Kong 設計#香港地」2024-25以「遊合創意 X 探索無限」為主題的全新活動正式展開！#ddHK以設計勾畫香港的地道文化，將創意元素融合在地文化、古蹟及自然美景，並藉跨界別合作推動歷史文化、跳島和綠色生態等不同主題特色旅遊，帶領大家一起深度體驗不一樣的香港，以創新方式揭示荃灣及沙頭角這兩個多元、獨特的社區，深度體驗它們豐富的歷史、文化和自然之美！

The tourism activity “#design district Hong Kong Design” 2024-25 has officially launched a new activity with the theme of “Creative Journey, Infinite Discovery”. #ddHK outlines the authentic culture of Hong Kong through design, integrates creative elements with local culture, historical sites and natural beauty, and uses cross-sector cooperation to promote tourism with different themes such as history and culture, island hopping and green ecology, leading everyone to have an in-depth experience of different places. The Same Hong Kong reveals the two diverse and unique communities of Tsuen Wan and Sha Tau Kok in an innovative way, allowing you to deeply experience their rich history, culture and natural beauty.

今年邀請了七組來自海外、內地及本地的創作單位，為荃灣及沙頭角的城市設施、歷史建築及自然環境注入創意元素。活動亦會聯乘區內的特色景點，包括文創熱點、文物古蹟、自然美景與地道美食等，向遊人推介一系列深度旅遊路線，提供多元體驗。在荃灣及沙頭角分別舉辦「山水間環保藝術節」及「沙頭角海邊周末市集」的主題市集活動，現場提供各種美食、生活百貨、本地手作產品，以及音樂、地道文化體驗。

In this program, seven groups of creative units from overseas, the Mainland and the local area were invited to inject creative elements into the urban facilities, historical buildings and natural environment of Tsuen Wan and Sha Tau Kok. The event will also take advantage of the district’s special attractions, including cultural and creative hotspots, cultural relics and historic sites, natural beauty and authentic food, to introduce a series of in-depth travel routes to visitors and provide a variety of experiences. Themed market activities were held in Tsuen Wan and Sha Tau Kok respectively, offering a variety of food, daily necessities, local handmade products, as well as music and authentic cultural experiences.

荃灣承載著多元社區特質，近年逐漸演變成香港深度旅遊的新興目的地。此區歷史與創新創意並重，非物質文化遺產與時尚生活兼容並蓄，繁華鬧市與自然風光相互交接。

Tsuen Wan carries diverse community characteristics and has gradually evolved into an emerging destination for in-depth tourism in Hong Kong in recent years. This area attaches equal importance to history and innovation, intangible cultural heritage and fashionable life, and the bustling city and natural scenery are intertwined.

沙頭角位於香港的東北角，毗鄰內地，一直是神秘的邊境小鎮。近年逐步開放旅遊後，隨即以種種歷史、文化與自然元素，吸引大眾前來揭秘。沙頭角不但擁有獨特景致，更是新界生態旅遊的起點，設有渡輪服務讓大眾探索景色絕佳的島嶼和村落，包括香港聯合國教科文組織世界地質公園內的荔枝窩、吉澳、鴨洲和紅花嶺郊野公園。

Sha Tau Kok is located in the northeast corner of Hong Kong, adjacent to the mainland, and has always been a mysterious border town. After gradually opening up to tourism in recent years, various historical, cultural and natural elements have been used to attract the public to come and discover the secrets. Not only does Sha Tau Kok have unique scenery, it is also the starting point for eco-tourism in the New Territories. It provides ferry services for the public to explore islands and villages with stunning scenery, including Lai Chi Wo, Kat O, Ap Chau and Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. Honghualing Country Park.

本次參與的藝術家有動畫藝術家Coolman Coffeedan（美國）、互動裝置創作團隊ENESS（澳洲）、多元藝術家 En lwamura（岩村遠）（日本）、花藝裝置藝術家紀馥君（內地）、當代藝術家 Louis To Wun（杜煥）（香港）、藝術家及插畫師 Vivian Ho（何博欣）（香港）以及設計師 Zoe Siu（蕭俞）（香港）。

The artists include animation artist Coolman Coffeedan (USA), interactive installation creation team ENESS (Australia), multi-faceted artist En Iwamura (Japan), floral installation artist Kiki Ji (Mainland), and contemporary artist Louis To Wun (Du Huan) (Hong Kong), artist and illustrator Vivian Ho (He Boxin) (Hong Kong) and designer Zoe Siu (Xiao Yu) (Hong Kong).

3 Highlights:

• 荃灣四組「期間限定」大型創意裝置以設計和創意注入嶄新旅遊體驗，比如荃灣城門郊野公園的「風的流動」，藝術家透過傳統竹藝結合現代風格創作，以流暢的線條與城門郊野公園的自然景致和諧融和。还有荃灣三棟屋博物館的「祈願新織夢」中香港著名繩結設計師蕭俞將豐盛的客家文化習俗、香港非物質文化遺產的魅力，與現代都巿人對美好生活的嚮往互相交織，創作出生動色彩的獨特編織作品。日本藝術家岩村遠創作了創意漂浮裝置，深入探究海洋、山巒、地質、島嶼以至日月之間的連結。魚躍共舞的藝術家杜煥以傳統的紮作技巧加上現代金屬藝術的設計，創造沉浸式的藝術場景，讓「魚兒」躍起浪花。

• Four sets of four time-limited creative installations in Tsuen Wan inject new tourism experiences with design and creativity, such as “The Flow of the Wind” in Tsuen Wan Shing Mun Country Park. The artist combined traditional bamboo techniques with modern styles to create “The Flow of the Wind” to express smoothness. The lines blend harmoniously with the natural scenery of Shing Mun Country Park. There is also the “Woven Dreams: Prayers of Modernity” at the Sam Tung Uk Museum in Tsuen Wan. By skillfully employing the intricate weaving techniques of Hakka patterned bands, Hong Kong’s famous knot designer Siu amplifies these auspicious patterns on the contemporary structures, mimicking the form of the colourful Caimen at the entrance of Sam Tung Uk. Interweave to create unique woven creations in vivid colors. “Interwoven Horizons”, designed by Japanese multidisciplinary artist, En Iwamura, delves into the intricate ties between the sea, mountains, geology, islands and the celestial bodies of the sun and moon. Artist Du Huan creates “The Auspicious Dance”. Using a fusion of traditional sculpting techniques and modern metal art design, he creates an immersive environment where fishes dance amidst undulating waves.

• #ddHK創意活動比如主題導賞：荃灣生活藝術之旅，將引領大家暢遊在西樓角花園、三棟屋博物館及荃灣公園的創意裝置，了解這些作品的創作理念，同時發掘這些景點的獨特之處。沙頭角生活藝術之旅從創意與文化的視角出發，讓參加者深入了解沙頭角的藝術氛圍與生活文化，包括欣賞沙頭角邨及沙頭角廣場的連環壁畫。還有鐵罐玩具再造手作坊、山水間環保藝術節、魚網編織藝術工作坊等與本地和自然有關的有趣工作坊。

• ddHK creative activities such as themed guided tours: Tsuen Wan Life and Artistic Voyage will lead everyone to visit the creative installations in Sai Lau Kok Garden, Sam Tung Uk Museum and Tsuen Wan Park, and understand the creative concepts of these works , while discovering the uniqueness of these attractions. The Sha Tau Kok Living Art Tour starts from the perspective of creativity and culture, allowing participants to have an in-depth understanding of the artistic atmosphere and living culture of Sha Tau Kok, including appreciating the serial murals in Sha Tau Kok Village and Sha Tau Kok Square. There are also interesting workshops related to the local area and nature, such as Metal Can Toy Upcycling Workshop, Into the landscape: Eco-Art Festival, and Artsy Fish Net Workshop.

• 社區聯乘活動融合了音樂活動、郊遊探險以及當地民俗風情活動，包括跟隨專業地質公園導賞員，探索印洲塘的古樸村落吉澳和鴨洲，親身體驗鄉村的傳統拜神儀式，欣賞爵士樂演出、參加「森樂嘉年華」(28 – 29.12)、「元旦日出團」(01.01)及「慶春七村蹤走營」(04 – 05.01)。還有「夕酒朝啡」主題活動，活用在地資源，為參加者提供一個別樣的露營體驗：在鄉郊的晚上品嚐精選香港本地或村民釀製的酒，到早上享用荔枝窩從seed-to-cup的咖啡。

• The community joint activities combine music activities, outing adventures and local folk custom activities, including following professional geopark guides to the Exploration of Double Haven (Kat O & Ap Chau), experiencing traditional village worship rituals and listening to jazz music and participated in the “Forest Village Carnival” (December 28-29), “First Sunrise Hiking” (January 1), and “Hing Chun 7 Villages Camping” (January 4-5). Lai Chi Wo Village focuses on creating coffee suited for the local climate and crafting organic beverages. The event “PM Wine, AM Coffee” provides participants with an overnight camping experience, featuring local wines in the evening and seed-to-cup coffee from Lai Chi Wo in the morning.

Design District Hong Kong (#ddHK) is a creative tourism project that celebrates authentic culture and creativity and livens up unique neighbourhoods in Hong Kong through design elements. Launched in 2018, #ddHK has transformed different neighbourhoods into new tourism destinations filled with characteristics, and has become a well-acclaimed creative cultural tourism project.
