李欣儀於Touch Gallery舉辦的個人展覽「入夜逐光」，將她日常的鏡頭對焦於城市的夜晚，讓觀眾跟着她的鏡頭尋覓夜幕下的城市美。
Abby Lee’s solo exhibition “ When turning into Night” was held at Touch Gallery. It focuses on her lens on the city’s nightscape, allowing the audience to follow her perspective and discover the beauty of the nighttime city.

Abby Lee, an emerging Hong Kong artist, often depicted her daily living environment and human relationships. Touch Gallery presents Abby’s solo exhibition, “When Turning into Night”. The exhibition showcases Abby’s 11 latest works with the city under the night theme. By observing daily life, Abby depicted the city with the lights changing at nighttime. She has specialised in serene, relaxed and personal time during the night.

- Abby enjoys the nighttime and feels the most relaxing time of the day. The pace of the city slows down, and she can break free from the busy collective activities during the day. She observed the changing light and environment around her during her long commute home from work; it gave her new insight into life at night, and her work allowed the audience to feel the serenity and tranquillity at night. Abby used low saturation colour and orderly lines to create a sense of peace and silence.

- Abby is good at depicting her living environment to express the interaction between people and the enlivenment. Streep lamps, reflection on the bus window, wall and tree on the street are depicted by Abby. Those are the elements in audiences’ daily lives but seldom be noticed. - 在李欣儀的作品中，角色總是缺乏眼睛、鼻子等特徵。她往往使用白色描繪人物，弱化每個人的獨特個性，更注重人與生活環境的融合。這樣的處理讓人物更簡單化、概括化，不再凸顯個體差異。相反，它強調人與周圍環境的和諧統一。白色的人物彷彿成為了環境的一部分，與燈光、建築等元素融為一體，體現了人與環境密不可分的關係。引導觀眾專注於人與環境和諧共處的氛圍，而不是單純地關注個體特徵。
- In Abby’s works, human figures are always without features such as eyes or noses. She uses white colour to depict the figures to reduce the distinct personalities of each person. Abby wants to focus on the cohesion of humans and the living environment.
Background – 李欣儀:
李欣儀於2014年畢業於香港演藝學院，2023年獲得香港中文大學文學碩士學位，2023年獲得「奧沙藝術獎」頒授「文學碩士最佳畢業作品」，並於2021年獲得Art Next Expo金獎。她亦透過在倫敦國家劇院擔任佈景設計實習生,以及參與台北藝術進駐計畫，累積更多寶貴經驗。
李欣儀作品的共同元素包括水供應系統、人工結構的剖面圖以及城市景觀。她過往在主題公園擔任道具製作的經歷，使她能更細緻地觀察日常生活中不起眼的事物，並影響了她的審美觀。她多採用低飽和度色調及整齊俐落的線條，呈現出神秘並獨特視覺效果。
Abby Lee graduated from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in 2014 and received a Master of Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023. She received the Osage Art Award in “Best in MA Show” in 2023 and the Gold Award in Art Next Expo in 2021. Abby also enriched her skills and gained more experience through a scenic internship at the Royal National Theatre in London and an artist-in-residence program in Taipei.
The common elements in her artworks are water supply systems, cross-sections of artificial structures, and urban landscapes. Abby’s experience of being a prop maker in a theme park gave her more detailed observations of inconspicuous things in daily life and affected her aesthetics. Her low saturation colour in painting creates a highly visual scene in her works.
