大華銀行(香港)宣佈，2019 年「大華銀行年度水墨藝術大獎」公開組 (18 歲或以上)梁志榮憑水墨作品《互 :-》，從一眾「抽象」及「山水風景或具象」參賽作品中脫穎 而出，榮獲「2019 大華銀行年度最佳水墨藝術作品」大獎。
United Overseas Bank Hong Kong (UOB Hong Kong) today conferred the 2019 UOB Ink Art of the Year Award to Mr Leung Chi Wing for his ink artwork titled Between :-. Mr Leung’s artwork was chosen from the Open Category of entries, in both abstract and landscape or figurative genres, that were submitted by ink art talents in Hong Kong.
透過得獎作品《互 :- 》，梁志榮透過水墨展現一條在密集都市隨處可見的行車天橋。這座由人類設計 和興建的交通基建，每日承載著數以萬計的車輛，連繫著不同的社區。它不但爲人們與其關心的事物 建立聯繫，還促進了社區持份者之間的溝通和交流。作品中的天橋非常貼近樓群，寓意著多元化的社 區關係，讓區内的過客、居民和基礎設施緊密相連。梁志榮希望觀者在欣賞畫作時，可以重新思考自 身在社區發展中所擔當的角色。
In Between :-, Mr Leung revealed the connections bridged by an elongated overpass, which is commonly found in densely-built urban areas. Carrying thousands of vehicles every day, the overpass is a transportation infrastructure designed and constructed by human beings. It not only connects people to the things that matter to them but also encourages communications and interaction among the people in the community. The vicinity of the buildings and the overpass is a metaphor for the dynamic relationship that binds the commuters, residents and the infrastructure itself. Through the artwork, Mr Leung calls for the viewers to examine their roles to drive and to shape the evolution of a community.
在「大華銀行年度水墨藝術大獎」頒獎典禮中，梁先生說：「看著我家附近的行車天橋川流不息，我會思考其對附近居民的影響。透過這件作品，我希望能鼓勵不同的社區持份者評估新基建項目所帶來的社會影響，並透過深度對話加強聯繫。我十分榮幸能獲頒『2019 年大華銀行年度最佳水墨藝術作品』，這是對我藝術創作的肯定。我非常期待展開專業藝術創作生涯新的一頁。」
Receiving the award at the UOB Art in Ink Awards presentation ceremony, Mr Leung said,“The high-traffic overpass next to the building where I live has inspired me to ponder its significance to the people living nearby. With this artwork, I hope to encourage the different stakeholders to evaluate the social impact brought by new infrastructure and to strengthen the bonds in the community through in-depth conversations. I am honoured to receive this prestigious award which is recognition of my efforts in art creation. I look forward to embarking on a new chapter in my
professional life as an artist.”
