三火是一名香港本地藝術家。畢業於香港理工大學數碼媒體的她，創作媒介涵蓋繪畫、寫作、攝影和動畫等。她的作品簡潔而流暢，充滿光影、孤獨和夢境的意象。

Threefire is a local artist based in Hong Kong. A Digital Media graduate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, her creations range from paintings and writings to photography and animations. Simple and fluid, they are filled with imageries of lights and shadows, solitude and dreams.

因為名稱中有「火」字，所以三火的藝術作品中都不乏火花的元素，例如「清晨的煙火」和「天空的花火」。另外，火與光的關係密切，令藝術家也常常運用各種自然光線，如「浪花」間的波光，還有來自日文、描繪穿透樹葉縫隙的「木漏日」光。

The “fire” in Threefire’s name is used as a motif in her artworks, such as Morning Fireworks and Hanabi in the sky. Also, since fire and light are closely related, the artist is encouraged to explore various kinds of light, like the sparkles in between Spray, and KOMOREBI, a Japanese term for describing sunlight that passes through leaves.

此刻，生如夏花般絢爛奪目；儘管一切不過電光石火的瞬間，可是我們仍然活着 —— 仍然珍惜着所有值得愛護的美好與脆弱之物。

Life is like beautiful summer flowers at the moment. Despite everything being ephemeral, we are still living – still lighting up life like a fire so that we can protect, love and care for all of which are beautiful and fragile.

除了以上的壓克力畫外，三火的木顏色創作也同樣精彩。她覺得「畫是從零到某一個地方的過程，只有畫出來，才知道自己到了哪裡」。從顏色筆的每一劃可以看到，藝術家細膩的色彩是對世界的想像與實驗。無論是電影場景或是日常觀察，只要加入自己的創意，便不難發現萬物一直存在於身邊。

Apart from the above acrylic paintings, Threefire’s coloured pencil sketches are just as mesmerising. She feels that “drawing is the process of going from nowhere to somewhere; only by drawing can one realise one’s whereabouts”. From each pencil line, we can see the artist’s fine colours are imaginations of and experiments with the world. Whether it be a film scene or an everyday observation, it is not difficult to notice that we are always surrounded by all kinds of matter once our creativity is put into practice.
