Hong Kong, a vibrant hub of cultural fusion, has long been a source of inspiration for the global fashion scene. This year, Sun Museum proudly presents its latest retrospective exhibition, “HKI Knits – 50th Anniversary of the Founding of HKI Group,” running from May 24 to August 5, 2023. Delving into the rich history of the Hong Kong International Group (HKI Group), the exhibition unveils a tapestry of iconic knitted ready-to-wear garments, rare textile machinery, and historical photographs.

展覽分為六個引人入勝的部分，回顧了香江國際的關鍵時刻，側寫香港紡織製衣業的起落跌宕。全程展出中，觀眾將被各具特色的多種品牌吸引，每個品牌都有其獨特的魅力。這個卓越的展示不僅向香港在紡織品、文化和時裝設計方面的深遠影響表達敬意，同時也突出了香江國際集團在歐美日市場作為先鋒的傳奇崛起。

Divided into six captivating units, the exhibition unveils the pivotal moments that shaped the HKI Group, illuminating the ebbs and flows of the Hong Kong textile and garment industry. Throughout the exhibition, visitors will be enthralled by the diverse range of brands, each with its distinct appeal. This remarkable showcase not only pays homage to the profound impact of Hong Kong’s textiles, culture, and fashion design, but also highlights the legendary rise of the HKI Group as a trailblazer in the European, American, and Japanese markets.

• 該展覽展出香江國際集團自 1969 年成立以來，旗下十 個時裝品牌的代表性作品，以及難得一見的紡織機器及歷史照片，交織出一個集紡織歷 史、文化、時裝設計於一爐的展覽
• The exhibition showcases iconic knitted ready-to-wear by the 10 fashion brands under the Hong Kong International Group (HKI Group) since its establishment in 1969, along with rare textile machinery and historical photos, to illustrate the history of Hong Kong textiles, culture, and fashion design.

• Malina Wong 是香江國際最引以為傲的成果，在歐洲風行一時。其以人造珠寶、亮片、 水晶、串珠及刺繡在毛衣上展現了香港獨有的東西合璧韻味，為人津津樂道。
• Malina Wong is the greatest achievement of the HKI Group, which was exceptionally well-received in Europe. Its collection radiates a unique connection of East and West aesthetics, with the use of imitation gemstones, sequins, crystals, beads, and embroidery.

• 現場同時展出不同年代的紡織機器，它們配備了當年最先進的技術，例如專門編織結構 複雜花紋的自動針織機、主要織無底毛撥花 (Intarsia) 的掛毛機等。
• The exhibition also features textile machinery from different eras equipped with the most advanced technology of the time, such as automatic knitting machines to create complicated patterns, and intarsia machines to realize multi-pattern designs (Intarsia).
