There are no boundaries in art creation. In fact, every artist delineates their own sphere and territory without mutual interference. An invisible wall was therefore formed between each other. From Jun 20 to July 11, AMAZ by Lokianno, Pistachio Kernel and POA is showcasing the “Invisible Walls” Mixed Media Art Exhibition, featuring the works of five distinguished artists. Allows several artists with different creative directions to work together. To explore all new possibilities of art, pushing the conventional frameworks of dots, lines and surfaces, and bring a new scene of creation.

Every artist aims to push boundaries and surpass conventional frameworks to make pieces that are truly mind-blowing. “Invisible Walls” is a mixed media art exhibition that contemplates the question of the non-existence and imaginations: to form imageries beyond presence, to connect dots, lines, surfaces; and to break through invisible limits out of nothing, imagination breaks through invisible boundaries, akin to an oasis in a desert on our search for the impossible.
AMAZ by Lokianno, Pistachio Kernel and POA feature five distinguished artists in its latest mixed media art exhibition, “Invisible Walls”, which, by shattering walls of old, realises the boundless possibilities of art itself.
The artists participated in this exhibition included: OTORI, Alfred Cheng, Omacke, Jimmy Rice and Bao.
OTORI OTORI OTORI
OTORI – Pandemic Diaries
These prints by designer OTORI are from a larger series of work that began in April last year: he realised the fragility in life during the pandemic and decided to record himself. He used Instagram as a diary, recording his daily life and thoughts with simple graphics and colours. In fact, the very act of recording has already become a daily habit of reflection.
Alfred Cheng
Alfred Cheng – Conquering the Four-Panel Canvas with a Single Thread
Hong Kong-based thread artist Alfred Cheng recreates iconic portraits by weaving a single thread around hundreds of metal nails at the edge of the canvas. This perfect marriage of science and art explains his lifelike portraits. See the detail in his four-panel works at the exhibition.
“Life is like a thread. It can have infinite possibilities.”

Omacke – Graffiti
Omacke – Graffiti Roots
The works of multi-disciplinary Omacke is rooted in graffiti. Featured works in this exhibition are evidently bolder and more abstract; some are figurative and rely on a balance of colour and negative space.

Jimmy Rice–
Jimmy Rice– Is Peace Nothing without War? A Parelle of Qin Dynasty and Present Day
Multimedia artist Jimmy Rice is reputed for illustrations, sculptures, installations, street performances and more. His exhibition, BLACKPEACE, challenges extreme power and totalitarian rule with questions like: what is war? What is peace, and must they exist together?
Bao
Bao – The Girl, The Mountains and A Tailless Cat
Self-taught mural artist Bao is revered for her complex collages. Themed around her signature Tailless Cat, this exhibition also featuring a girl and nature brims with layered details and textures. Though the composition of this exhibit varies slightly from that of her previous works, her boundless imagination and creativity are still ever prevalent.
