《再会田中一光》回顧展 | “HELLO! IKKO TANAKA” EXHIBITION

香港 27 畫廊主辦 <再会田中一光>(HELLO! IKKO TANAKA) 回顧展 ,首度在香港展出日本平面設計師田中一光(1930 – 2002)自1950年代發表、超過100張經典海報及設計作品。

Organised by Gallery 27, “HELLO! IKKO TANAKA” retrospective exhibition will take place from 20th October to 9th November 2019 at Space 27 in Quarry Bay, showcasing over 100 selected posters and design works by Japanese graphic designer Ikko Tanaka (1930 – 2002).

展覽得到日本DNP文化振興財團、ginza graphic gallery(ggg)、Center for Contemporary Graphic Art(CCGA)支持,並作為日本領事館之年度文化慶典「日本秋祭in香港 –魅力再發現–」活動之一,展覽將於 2019 年 10 月 20 日至 11 月 9 日在鰂魚涌 27 空間舉行,為期 21天,公眾免費入場。

With the generous support of DNP Foundation for Cultural Promotion, ginza graphic gallery (ggg), and Center for Contemporary Graphic Art (CCGA), The exhibition is an associated programme of the “Japan Autumn Festival in Hong Kong – Rediscovering Japan” organised by the Consulate-General of Japan, which will last for 21 days and open to the public for free entry.

田中一光被廣泛公認是二十世紀其中一位最重要的日本平面設計師。他的設計以大膽的構圖、一絲不苟的用色,以及出色的視覺溝通技巧見稱。其作品把日本的傳統美學,透過現代設計的語言融會再創,自成一格,是最早活躍於海外的日本設計師之一,備受國際設計界推崇。

Ikko Tanaka was widely recognised as one of the most important graphic designers of Japan in the twentieth century. His distinctive design is known for his bold composition, meticulous use of colour, and superb visual communication skills. His works reinvent Japan’s traditional aesthetics through modern design language, and he was one of the first Japanese designers to be active overseas, highly regarded by the international design community.
