倫勃朗（又譯林布蘭）一生總共畫了大約八十幅自畫像，當中有油畫、蝕刻版畫及素描，每幅皆嚴謹細膩地刻畫了他的面容，逐一紀錄了他畢生對自己形象的執迷和探索。
