Hong Kong’s cityscape has always been a popular subject matter for outdoor sketching, where local artists attempt to document the transformation of history, retaining the fleeting traces of local culture. HK ARTION is honoured to feature three artists from different generations and backgrounds—Elaine Chiu (watercolor artist), Wai Wai (illlustrator), and Shen Ping (veteran watercolor artist), who shared their personal journey of outdoor sketching.
