「妙繪‧香港非遺」展覽展示本地插畫家蘇敏怡 Stella, So Man Yee 的手繪插畫，可愛清新的繪本風格活現「香港非物質文化遺產代表作名錄」內 20 個項目如天后誕、涼茶等香港人文風貌。
In celebration of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) ‘s 20th anniversary, the annual “Art, Culture and Music at the Airport 2018” festival is hosted for the fourth consecutive year. Starting from May 2018 to November 2018, the five-month festival presents various art shows and exhibitions to manifest the splendour and fascination of Hong Kong’s unique local culture, infusing all corners of the terminals with artistic and cultural richness.
The “Comixtream @ Airport – Kung Fu Trilogy” bring back the classic Hong Kong comics, the platforms of the Automated People Mover are decorated with the paintings drawn by three renowned Hong Kong artists, including Jerry Cho, Lee Chi-ching and Lee Kin-leung. The Kung Fu and boxing comics representing the glory of local comic culture highlight the collective memories of Hongkongers.
“An Artist’s Impression of Hong Kong’s Intangible Cultural Heritage” showcases Stella, So Man Yee’s hand-drawn paintings, the vivacious and down-to-earth illustrations portray the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Hong Kong such as the Tin Hau Festival and herbal tea, disclosing the lively facets of Hong Kong local community.
Apart from promoting local culture, the Airport Authority Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Observatory jointly present the “Cloud-sourcing: In Touch with Weather from Land, Sea and Air”, the photography exhibition showcases the astonishing weather photos and videos from a crowdsourcing campaign, aiming to raise public awareness of weather phenomena and climate change.
“Our Vibrant Art City” photography exhibition embodies the professional spirit and talents among Hong Kong photographers and artists, featuring the stunning photos from different collaborations, in which they capture the incredible moments in diverse art forms and performances, including music, dance and drama, manifesting the art scene and city landscape of Hong Kong. In addition to the photo and paintings exhibitions, the Exhibition of Students Visual Art Work features the Gold and Silver Prizes artworks from primary and secondary school students, acknowledging their talents in creative and visual art.
