大禹之後 大雨之後 | 藝日誌

古有「大禹治水」,今有渠務署梳埋渠道,我們才能在大雨之時,幸免於水浸帶來之不便。渠務署解釋水浸解釋得很有詩意:「水,其實一直在尋找自由。水,因受到空間上的限制,才會造成水浸。」今次藝術發展局聯同藝術家Kingsley Ng,破天荒與香港渠務署合作,讓觀眾走入十萬立方米容量的蓄洪池禁地,一探在池中發生的光影聲音裝置。

置身其中,我想像自己是一滴雨水,從天而降,落入城市。流過大街小巷,洗刷街上的塵土。此城大部分地方都鋪上石屎;地磚的縫隙亦被「天才」填上膠水。我無法循自然方式滲入泥土,亦離河川大海太遠。結果通過黑漆漆的隧道流入蓄洪池,隨雨勢漸強,水位也愈來愈高,水聲在空間中迴旋、盪漾、又回復平靜。然後緩緩被水泵泵出,重見天日,期待下一次的旅程。

穿上反光帶、戴上頭盔,隨著油燈那一點光,走進充滿異味的黑色地下世界,這種觀賞藝術的方式非比尋常。Kingsley的裝置與環境相配合,光影與聲音元素抽象,卻把水的故事在此空間重現。
